We’re excited to announce a major new feature that spans across multiple Box5 Software products: Music Playback in EnGage. For the first time, drill designers, educators, and performers using EnGage by Box5 Software can view their drill with synchronized music—bringing a whole new level of immersion and clarity to the design and rehearsal process.
How It Works
To take advantage of this new feature, users will need to update to the latest versions of our software and follow a few simple steps:
-
Update EnVision (v2.1.00)
-
The latest release of our flagship desktop design application now includes music timing data in its JSON export format.
-
Make sure your music is synced in EnVision, then export a new JSON file from your project.
-
-
Upload to the Box5 Portal
-
Head over to app.box5software.com.
-
Upload your newly exported JSON file to your Group.
-
-
Upload Your Music
-
Using the new music upload interface in the Portal, add the audio file associated with your exported drill file.
-
-
Update EnGage (v1.7.0)
-
With the latest version of EnGage by Box5 Software, you can now download both the drill and its associated music.
-
Open your project in EnGage and experience your design come to life with synchronized drill and audio playback.
-
Why This Matters
Music and drill go hand in hand, and now our mobile app finally reflects that. Whether you’re reviewing a show design, teaching on the field, or rehearsing with students, this feature makes EnGage a more powerful and practical tool than ever before.
This update represents another step toward our mission of providing innovative, integrated solutions for visual performance design and education.
